Mike is an Enrolled Agent, a federally-licensed tax practitioner.  He has a B.S. in accounting and a Masters in Tax Law.  He specializes in advanced income tax strategies and business startups.  Mike has over twenty five years of tax preparation and consulting experience.  He started his career working for the IRS as a field auditor.  After leaving the IRS, he became a Tax Manager for various CPA firms and then established his own tax practice 20+ years ago.

Ted Chen is an Enrolled Agent, a federally-licensed tax practitioner.  He graduated from UC Berkeley in 2005 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.  Since graduation, he has been focusing on taxes.  He specializes in tax preparation and planning, including personal, business, trust and estate taxes.  Ted distinguishes himself from the rest by scanning tax returns for potential red flags as well as identifying maximum deductions.  In addition, he continues to take classes on taxation so that he is up to date on the latest tax law changes.  Mr. Chen is committed to minimizing your taxes to the extent permitted by law.

Katrina is a CPA, currently working on her Masters in Tax Law at Golden Gate University. She graduated from UC Davis in 2011 with a B.S. in economics and then went on to Santa Clara University where she completed their C.A.A.P (certificate of advanced accounting proficiency) program. After graduating Katrina went to work in public accounting for 3 years where she specialized in real estate taxes and accounting at Novogradac & Co LLp. Since joining her father’s firm in 2015, Katrina has been focused on individual income tax issues, real estate tax matters, and small business tax planning and preparation.
